Apple PowerMac 6400

Found at FreeGeek Twin Cities as a project machine. Description listed is that they weren't able to put an OS back on it in order to sell. I believe I paid $20 bucks for it. As luck would have it, I happened to have a 6400 motherboard that was found at a storage locker sale. I figured a case for $20 would be a perfect fit! I brought it home and started tinkering with the original motherboard still installed as I wanted to see how it was behaving. Seemed to boot off the free OS 8 cd that was accidentally left in the drive (bonus)! After going through the setup wizard, sure enough I wasn't able to format the HDD and load an OS back on just like the description said. That's when it clicked and I remembered that you need to used a hacked version the Apple HD setup tool or LIDO. Sure enough, that did the trick!
